The ACT Junior Championships is the premier junior event on the ACT squash calendar and an AJST Gold tournament. Junior players from across the ACT, surrounding regions, and interstate are invited to compete. All participants must hold a current State or Territory squash membership.
A Junior Novice Division will also be offered alongside the main AJST events (non‑AJST).

- Two‑day singles tournament
- Minimum of 3 matches per player
- Official Ball: Dunlop Pro (Double Yellow)

Junior Novice Division
A dedicated Junior Novice Division is available for developing junior players who are new to tournament squash.
Eligibility:
- Open to any junior player (any gender)
- Must have a SquashLevels rating under 300
- This division provides a supportive, entry‑level competition environment for emerging juniors.
Membership Requirements
All players must hold a Local or Compete membership under Squash Australia’s national membership policy.
Divisions & Format
Age Groups: U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 – Male and Female
Match Format: PAR 11, Best of 5 games
Additional notes:
- Players may enter one age group only
- Players must compete in their correct age group or the U19 division
- Tournament organisers may combine or adjust divisions, or refuse entries if required
