The ACT Open is the premier senior event on the ACT squash calendar. Players from across Canberra, surrounding regions, and interstate are invited to compete. All participants must hold a current membership with their State or Territory squash association.

Divisions Available
The tournament offers Senior, Junior, and Novice divisions.
Players may enter up to two events.

Senior Divisions
Men: Open, A, B, C, D
Women: Open, A, B, C

Junior Divisions - Junior divisions run as an AJST Silver event.
Boys: U11, U13, U15, U17, U19
Girls: U11, U13, U15, U17, U19

Novice Division
A dedicated Novice Division is available for new and developing players:

• Open to any age and any gender
• SquashLevels rating under 300
• This division provides a supportive, welcoming competition environment for emerging players.

Entry Fees
1 Event: $50
2 Events: $80

Event Details

• Sanctioned two‑day singles tournament
• Minimum of 3 matches per player
• Official Ball: Dunlop Pro (Double Yellow)
• Tournament organisers may combine or adjust divisions, or refuse entries if required
• PAR 11 scoring (WSF rules)

Membership Requirements
Under Squash Australia’s national membership policy, all participants must hold either a Local or Compete membership to enter.
